Child shot protecting mom hailed a hero - Crime & courts- msnbc.com
It is distressing to learn that Alexis is in critical condition. This little girl took six bullets protecting her mom from a former boyfriend. She has lost her eye as a result of his vicious attack. She is truly a hero. I hope and pray that she pulls through this portion of her ordeal. It is really upsetting to even think about an adult opening fire on a child or her mother.
This on going wave of black on black violence and murder is like a plague in our communities. We are injuring and killing for no real apparent reason! This is just one example of the violence that has been in the news concerning black people.
